Apr 28, 2021 · I dont have experience on subie engines in regards to oil viscocities. However I have used various oil weights in my track car with a toyota engine and the 0w20 it is spec'd with from the factory objectively performs better than 5w30. This is with 40 minute on track sessions in the dead of summer.
